I thought that during the women’s movement we would get the same respect that a man would. I have to admit that to an extent we are improving, but we are not there yet. When a woman uses her body to get things done we go right back to where we started where society looks at us as just baby making machines that just get by on sex and child rearing. Many times we as women put ourselves in this position, but for the most part, the media and “standards” do this to us. How about us women take a stand and use our brains and show society that we are worth what we have.

On the other hand, those of us who don’t use our bodies to get things done deserve to be made to feel that we are worth whaat we are worth. I have 2 degrees myself and still don’t make what a man with the same degree earns. Ladies, let’s get our act together and put all of our best assets ( besides the physical ones) to work to our advantages. We have the same intelligence, why not the same paycheck?
